Welcome to my universe of paper cut people. Through my paper cuts, I’m telling the story of the paper cut people, who are trapped deep inside the paper, before I start cutting and creating their shapes and sizes.

As an artist, I can sense that the paper cut people are caught in their sadness within the paper. They are unfulfilled and have something in their lives that weigh them down. After I start cutting, they are all cut loose and given the freedom to travel around in this wonderful and diverse world, we live in.
I regularly exhibit my framed paper cut people. I have exhibited in more than 110 places since 2003 - including two times in Japan and two time in the U.S.
I have attended "Norsk Høstfest", which North America’s largest Scandinavian festival. It is held in Minot, North
I represented Denmark at the event 'Nordic Wonderland' at The Phillips Collection in Washington DC January 2016. The event was arranged by five Nordic embassies in the United States. I april 2017 I made a exhibition and a papercut workshop at The Nordic Center in Duluth, Minnesota, USA. In 2018 I had a exhibition and a papercut workshop at Museum of Danish America in Elk Horn, Iowa. In 2019 2019, I participated in the symposium "Sustaining Scandinavian Folk Arts in the Upper Midwest" arranged by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In September 2017 I made a exhibition i Japan together with Robert Cole Rizzi. The exhibition combined paper cuts, audio and photo in an unique way.
I regularly host paper cut workshop, where the participants – under my guidance – get the opportunity to try their own hand at paper cutting. Throughout the workshop, the participants experience the very best of cutting paper - including the moment where the paper is unfolded, the happy paper cut people emerge, and the magic occurs.
I started out as paper cut artist in 2004. I am 55 years old and married to Lene. We have two daughters aged 22 and 26 years. We live in Odense, Denmark, which is the town of birth of the world famous fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen, who was a very skilled paper cut artist.
